Reference Books, Artbooks and Film Comics Releases Below is a chronological listing of every Japanese Patlabor artbook, reference book and film comic release. Note: Please do not ask me to scan images from artbooks for you. I unfortunately do not have the time and do not own all of the books listed. Patlabor Perfect Manual vol. 1 (B-Club Film Comic)
Notes: Contains introductions of the cast, the Labors, a map of where the stories take place, a detailed look at the AV-98 Ingram, film stories of the first three episodes of the "Early Days" OVA, a gallery of pictures from the AXIA commercial, staff and cast lists, character and Labor model sheets as well as setting format designs.
Patlabor Perfect Manual vol. 2 (B-Club Film Comic)
Notes: This volume contains lyrics to the song "Miraiha Lovers", a profile by it's singer, Hiroko Kasahara, as well as a profile of her and images of her in an SV2 uniform, photographs of various Labor models including Labor specifications for each, a look at Patlabor soundtracks, film stories of the next three episodes of the "Early Days" OVA, an in depth article on the history of how Patlabor was conceived including interviews with all of the staff and concept drawings, staff and cast lists, character and Labor model sheets as well as setting format designs.

Patlabor Shonen Sunday Graphic Special
Notes: Contains materials from both the "Early Days" OVA and manga such as character and mecha designs and a number of colour and black and white illustrations by Masami Yuuki images done for Shonnen Sunday. Also included is interviews with Hiroko Kasahara, Masami Yuuki and Rumiko Takahashi as well as a colour poster of Noa Izumi and a look at the then forthcoming "Patlabor the movie". Other sections include a look at the development of Patlabor which includes many preliminary sketches, a comprensive list of Masami Yuuki's manga from the 1970's until 1989 and a manga by Tamato Aki which shows what he and Yuuki were doing while coming up with the Patlabor concept.
Patlabor Knock Down! Tsgeki Labor (Bandai Pocket Edition Game Book)
Notes: This is an RPG book which has the plot of Noa competing in the new sport of Labor Professional Wrestling! Also the rest of SV2 become involved in sorting out trouble with players.
Patlabor the movie Perfect Manual vol. 3 (B-Club Film Comic)
Notes: The third volume in this series contains the film stories to the first movie and the seventh OVA of the "Early Days" series. Also included is a rundown of the latest Patlabor model and garage kit releases, staff and cast lists, character and Labor model sheets as well as setting format designs for both the first movie and the seventh OVA of the "Early Days" series.
Shonnen Sunday Graphic Special - Patlabor the Movie: The New World of Masami Yuuki
Notes: This mook (magazine-book) contains exclusive Masami Yuuki artwork, including a gallery of pictures showing Noa Izumi through her school years and an exclusive Patlabor manga story. Also included is film stories to the first movie and the seventh OVA of the "Early Days" series, character and Labor model sheets as well as setting format designs for both the first movie and the seventh OVA of the "Early Days" series, model kit diorama photo and staff and cast interviews.

Notes: A special mook (magazine-book) filled with photos of Patlabor models in realistic settings and Patlabor dioramas.

My Alphonse: Mobile Police Patlabor (AM JuJu)
Notes: A pocket sized book which features cells taken from the Patlabor TV series, mostly of Noa and her Ingram, Alphonse. There are also a few new colour images, mostly culled from Animage magazine, as well as a two page colour manga.
Mobile Police Patlabor Illustration Book 1 (Entertainment Bible 17)
Notes: Contains Labor information compiled from the first 24 TV episodes, a history of Labor development and a guide on how to drive Labors safely.
The Mobile Police Patlabor: Pulsation (Dragon Magazine Special)
Notes: An artbook featuring images from Akemi Takada. Included are full colour images from CD covers, magazine articles and covers, promotional images for the all of the anime up to the TV series and some exclusive artwork for the book including a double sided poster.
