Construction and Industrial Labors TFV-97 Clubman
Notes: A commercial construction Labor designed for use in construction projects in mountainous regions. The Labor is also waterproof and can walk in water. Also if a leg is damaged or lost, it is possible operate the Labor on three legs. The Labor also has retractable wheels for driving on roads. This Labor was used in an unsuccessful attempt to capture a genetically modified creature in the TV episode "Head to the Evil Mountain". In various reference books, this Labor has been romainsed as "Crabman" and "Crubman", but I have used the most plausible and arguably the most correct name of Clubman.
TVF-97EX Clubman High-Leg
Notes: A deluxe version of the TFV-97 Clubman. The Labor is also waterproof and can walk in water. Also if a leg is damaged or lost, it is possible operate the Labor on three legs. The Labor also has retractable wheels for driving on roads. This Labor first appeared in the "Patlabor Perfect Manual vol. 2" in December 1988, but did not appear in the anime version of Patlabor until September 1990. In various reference books, this Labor has been romainsed as "Crabman" and "Crubman", but I have used the most plausible and arguably the most correct name of Clubman.
SOV-9900 Seadog
Notes: Undersea type construction Labor. In the water it's maximum speed is 30 knots and it can dive to a depth of 70 metres. In most cases the actual power and oxygen is supplied through pipes and cables fed into the top of the Labor by a ship which means it can be operation for long periods, but it can operate independently without them. Used by local fisherman to operate the fins of their fake Pleasaurus in the TV episode "Orders of the Coast Guard".
ARV-99 Rescue Labor
Notes: Fire fighting and rescue Labor only seen in the TV episode "The Tower: SOS". This Labor uses the technology of the AV-98 Ingram and is designed for rescue missions for the Tokyo Fire Department and is completely fire and heat proof for the safety of it's pilot.
CRL-98 Pyro-Buster
Notes: A fire fighting Labor only seen in the TV episode "The Tower: SOS". The Labor is completely fire and heat proof for the safety of it's pilot and has two large water cannons on it's shoulders. It is also constructed to deal with chemical disasters and is equipped with precise manipulator in it's left arm.
EL-01 Housaku
Notes: An agricultural Labor mostly used in rice crops throughout the entire cycle of the crop, from planting to harvesting and threshing. The Labor's most promenade appearance is in the TV episode "A Green Phantom".
HL-99 REX2500
Notes: A highly advanced Labor which is able to do very intricate work as it is equipped with a small but very precise manipulator. But the Labor was also very expensive for a construction Labor, so it only saw limited sales. First seen the TV episode "Ota's Afternoon of Puzzlement".
Terro Labor
Notes: A customised amphibious construction Labor used by the terrorist group the Earth Defence Family in the TV episode "The Shadow of the Geo-Front". This Labor is powered by a diesel engine.
"TV Station" Labor
Notes: A light weight Labor which mostly acts as more mobile and accurate forklift. Only seen in the New OVA Series episode "90% Viewer Rate" where it was used by Kumagoro to terrorise his cast mates and Division 2. There's practically no information available for this Labor, not even an official name. << Back to Construction and Industrial Labors Part 1 | Labors Main Page | Prototype and Miscellaneous Labors >> | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
