Notes: Contains seven films directed by Mamoru Oshii including the first two Patlabor movies. The box set also contains the films "Urusei Yatsura: Only You", "Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer", "Maroko" (movie edit of the 1989 six part OVA "Gosenzosama Banbanzai" with additional footage), "Angel's Egg" and the OVA "Twilight Q2 : Meikyu Bukken File 538". Also included is two CDs, a 30 track audio CD "The Dog's Ear" by Kenji Kawai, and CD-ROM "The Dog's Eye" with photos by Haruhiko Higami.

Notes: Contains Dolby Digital 5.1 channel remix of both movie's audio tracks. For the first year both movies came in special "Laserdisc sized" packaging. This was part of a promotional push to entice Laserdisc buyers to take up the format. "Wings of Honneamise", "Memories" and "Macross: Do You Remember Love" were also released in similar packaging.
